Sunburn

Just like people, plants can get burned when they are exposed to too much sunlight. Unfortunately, once leaves have been sunburned, they can't truly heal. You'll just have to wait for new, healthy leaves to replace the burnt ones. But, you can learn what causes sunburn, so that you can prevent it in the future! Sometimes sunburn happens when droplets of water stay on your succulent's leaves and act as a magnifying glass, burning those areas of the plant. So, make sure to shake/brush off these droplets after watering. Succulents can also get sunburned if they have a sudden change in environment. For example, if you bring your plant outside into the bright sun after keeping it in a shady room for weeks. To prevent this, try to gradually introduce your plant to higher light levels. Once it adjusts, it will probably love the extra sunshine!
