Stretching
January 20, 2020
Stretching, sometimes called etiolation, is a common problem for succulents and occurs when the plant does not have enough light. You might notice that your plant is stretching sideways, towards a window or other light source. Most of the time, a stretched succulent is not in danger of dying. But, stretching is one way to tell that your succulent is not doing well. Unfortunately, there is no way to un-stretch your plant. But, by pruning it, moving it to a sunnier location, or putting it under a grow light, it will begin to look happy and healthy again.
